Join us for our first Outreach session

Do join us Monday May 17, from noon to 1:15pm PDT, for a discussion and exploration of the role and work of the First Nations LNG Alliance.

It will be the first of a series of virtual sessions, open to all and free.

You can register here.

We’ll announce dates for further sessions as soon as we can.

Stand by, for example, for a session on Employment and Training. What results are you getting around workshops and training in your community, and what are the biggest obstacles and challenges?

Topics anticipated for sessions after that: Indigenous women in trades, Resource development and the environment, and First Nations procurement and doing business.

Meet the facilitators:

  • Judy Desjarlais is a Beaver/Cree (Dunne’za/Cree) descendant from northeastern BC, and owns a First Nation firm, Top Notch Oilfield Contracting. She is a director of the Fort St. John Chamber of Commerce, and a member of the advisory committee for the Indigenous Resource Network.
  • Lynn Parker is Gitxsan/Tsimshian and is an elected councillor of the Kitselas First Nation. She is also chair of the Kitselas finance and audit committee and is a health and wellness sub-committee member of the Northern First Nations Alliance.
